DAB Governor Departs for Morocco to Attend IFSB Annual Session

June 29, 2025– The Governor of Da Afghanistan Bank, Noor Ahmad Agha, and his accompanying delegation have left the country to attend the annual session of the Islamic Financial Services Board (IFSB).

The international annual session, scheduled for the first week of July in Rabat, Morocco, will focus on the Islamic financial sector, banking transparency, financial stability, and the expansion of international cooperation.

Participation in the conference, which aims to improve Islamic banking and strengthen relations with international Islamic financial institutions, is considered crucial. The Da Afghanistan Bank delegation's attendance is expected to open a new chapter in collaboration on Islamic financial services.

It is worth noting that the conference is attended by governors and high-ranking representatives of the central banks of Islamic countries to share their major experiences in Islamic banking.
