Real Section

This section is responsible to compile and analyze statistical data on the macroeconomic indicators. The section collects data such as the gross domestic product (GDP), consumer price index (CPI), and other data from the National Statistics and Information Authority (NSIA) of Afghanistan, and some of the macroeconomic variables are forecasted based on it. The statistics of this section are crucially important in the formulation and execution of monetary policy.
