DAB Appreciates the Recent Remarks of the US Special Representative for Afghanistan

US Special Representative for Afghanistan, Thomas West, recently met a number of Afghan businesspersons in the United Arab Emirates and promised to resolve the challenges faced by the banking system of Afghanistan.

Da Afghanistan Bank extends its appreciation to Mr. West for his good intentions and initiatives based on further removing the sanctions and solving the problems faced by the banking system of Afghanistan. DAB requests the international community, especially the United States of America, to have fruitful engagement with Afghanistan in other areas too so that once again effective correspondence is resumed between Afghanistan and other countries.

As regulator and supervisor of the banking sector, Da Afghanistan Bank once again assures the people that DAB is working hard to share the challenges faced by the banking sector of the country with domestic and foreign stakeholders, and is committed to propelling the banking sector toward growth and economic development of the country.
